On September 23, 2024, a judge temporarily blocked the new law in Tennessee that makes it a crime for anyone to help someone under 18 years old in Tennessee get an abortion, in or out of the state, without the consent of a parent or legal guardian. This law originally went into effect on July 1, 2024 but is not currently in effect.
